Built From the Inside Out

The Founder

Prison 2 Praise Ministries was not built from theory.
It was built from lived consequence, personal accountability, and a faith in Jesus Christ that transformed not just a life but a calling.

Frantz Beasley, the founder of Prison 2 Praise Ministries, knows restoration not as a philosophy but as a testimony. As a formerly incarcerated individual, Frantz experienced a life-changing encounter with Christ while serving time, a reckoning that occurred in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks. That encounter did not just change his relationship with God. It awakened in him a deep and painful awareness of the harm he had caused others, and a sacred conviction that the rest of his life would be lived in service to healing, accountability, and restoration.

He did not leave incarceration with a plan. He left with a purpose. And he has been walking it out every day since.

The Story

Prison 2 Praise Ministries carries the stories of two people who shaped its founder most deeply.

His mother, a woman of extraordinary faith who survived years of domestic violence with a quiet strength the world rarely saw. She was gentle but fierce, broken but still standing. Her faith never wavered. Before she passed in 2021, Frantz made her a promise: that one day he would honor her story, her suffering, her silence, and most of all her resilience. Prison 2 Praise Ministries is that promise in motion.

His oldest son, Andre, who faced every obstacle life placed before him with grace, grit, and a joy rooted in something deeper than circumstance. Andre passed in October 2022. His courage remains a compass and his light continues to shine through every life this ministry touches.

In 2022 Frantz walked 4,100 miles across the United States to raise awareness about the violence, murder, and trafficking of women and girls of color. That walk was an act of intercession as much as advocacy. It deepened his calling and gave him a new understanding of what it means to carry other people's pain as part of your God-given purpose.

Prison 2 Praise Ministries rises not in spite of the pain. Because of it. And because of Him.

The Mission

Prison 2 Praise Ministries is a 501(c)(3) Christ-centered nonprofit organization based in Tempe and Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2022, it exists to bring healing, justice, and restoration to people society often discards, while never forgetting or minimizing the experiences of those who were harmed.

We are unapologetically Christian in our identity, our leadership, and the conviction that drives every decision we make. We believe that redemption is real, that transformation is possible, and that every human being carries inherent dignity because they are made in the image of God.

At the same time our programs are built to serve every person who walks through our doors, regardless of where they are in their own faith journey. You do not have to share our faith to benefit from our programs. You simply have to be willing to do the work.

Frantz Beasley is a nationally recognized advocate for survivors of violence and exploitation, president and cofounder of AZ Common Ground, founder of Respect Our Daughters, and a member of the African American Advisory Councils for both the Phoenix Mayor and Chief of Police.

Prison 2 Praise Ministries is his life's work made institutional. Structured. Scalable. And anchored in the belief that what God does in one life, He can do in any life.
This ministry rises not in spite of the pain, but because of it. And through it, a mother's story lives. A son's light shines. And we keep walking, one life, one heart, one act of restoration at a time.

To God be the glory.
